視覺藝術精進專業者在接受高等教育視覺藝術創作訓練之後,並非只是朝藝術創作發展,而是轉向視覺藝術設計、藝術教育、藝術鑑定、藝術史研究、藝術行政與管理、藝術品修復、藝術評論等相關領域之專業生涯發展。本研究為了理解視覺藝術精進專業者對生涯特質之覺知、生涯抉擇之因素、生涯阻礙與因應、生涯自我效能之維持,本研究將邀請八位不同領域超過三十年工作經驗的視覺藝術精進專業者,透過理解生涯發展理論並進行深度訪談,以敘事探究為方法,嘗試找出能應用於視覺藝術精進專業者之生涯理論模式,並以生涯敘事呈現其生涯發展之歷程。最後,設計藝術生涯探索工作坊,提供高等教育美術相關科系學習者參與,以藝術心理治療為概念的生涯探索工作坊形式,製作個人藝術學習歷程檔案,思考未來之生涯發展與規劃。
After creative technique training in fine arts department of higher education, advanced visual art professions not only develop their career in being artists, but also visual art designers, art educators, artistic appraisers, art history researchers, art administrators, artistic conservators, art reviewers. In order to explore the insight into the career characteristic, the reasons of career choice, the career barrier and problem solving, the sustain of self-efficacy, this research will invite 8 participants with over than 30 years professional experiences in depth interviews to inquire their career developments. The narrative inquiry will be the research method, attempting to establish the proper theoretical approaches for the career development of advanced visual art professions and build their career narrative stories. Moreover, the results will be applied to arrange an art psychotherapeutic art career exploration workshop, to provide opportunities for fine arts students in higher education creating art learning history files to probe their personal career plans.
