「全美教育研究社」在1927年出版的《二十六期年刊》為美國課程史中最重要的文獻之一。本文旨在概述此一年刊的內容,並且探討其在課程史中所具有的意義。全文共分為六節,首節為前言,說明本文寫作的緣起;第二節,敘述其出版的歷史背景;第三節,介紹第一冊《課程編製:過去與現在》的內容;第四節,介紹第二冊《課程編製之基礎》的內容;第五節,分別自(一)促成課程領域的專門化、(二)引導課程人員的專業化、(三)嘗試建立課程理念的共識、(四)初步擬定課程編製的步驟等四方面,說明該年刊在課程史中的重要性。最後,則殿以結論。
The purpose of the article is to investigate the historical significance of the 26th Yearbook, one of the most important documents in curriculum history in the USA in particular and the world in general. The yearbook ”The foundations and technique of curriculum-construction” published by the National Society for the Study of Education in 1927 consists of two volumes: ”Curriculum-making: Past and present” and ”The foundations of curriculum-making.” The article is divided into four sections except the introduction and conclusion. The background of the yearbook's publication as well as the scan view of each volume is explicated in first four sections; in the fifth section, the historical significance of the yearbook is analyzed as facilitating the specialization of curriculum field, stimulating of the professionalization of the curriculum personnel, the establishment of the curriculum consensus, and setting up the guidelines of curriculum making.
