摘要:	Purpose: to investigating the effects of different sequence of resistance exercise (RE) and aerobic exercise (AE) on testosterone and cortisol responses. Method: by randomized assignment, nine health males (age: 23.9 ± 0.9 yrs of age; height: 172.9 ± 1.3 cm; weight: 68.4 ± 2.7 kg; VO2 max: 56.6 ± 1.7 ml/kg/min) completed resistance exercise + aerobic exercise (RA) and aerobic exercise + resistance exercise (AR). The RE included four exercises (bench press, leg extension, front lat pulldown and leg curl, 12 repetitions at 60% 1RM with a 90-sec rest among all sets and exercises) and the AE was 65% VO2 max running for 30 min on treadmill, To evaluate the systemic anabolic and catabolic response, we measured plasma testosterone, cortisol and Tie ratio at baseline (T1), two exercises interval (T2), immediately after whole exercise (T3), and 30min after recovery (T4). Results: RA at T4 had higher cortisol level than T1 (T1: 12.42 ± 1.55, T4: 15.54 ± 2.18 μg/dL, p ＜ .05) and higher than AR (RA: 15.54 ± 2.18, AR: 10.78 ± 0.89 μg/dL, p ＜ .05). AR at T4 had higher TIC ratio than RA (RA: 0.49 ± 0.12, AR: 0.69 ± 0.12, p ＜ .05). Conclusion: resistance exercise before aerobic exercise could lead lower catabolic hormonal response than resistance exercise after aerobic exercise.
