目的:本研究旨在瞭解棒球投手使用功能性足弓鞋墊對跨步腳膝關節和踝關節偏移、跨步腳著地衝擊、直球球速及控球穩定的影響。方法:本研究為相依樣本重複量數設計,以22 名男性大專甲組棒球投手為受試對象,在一天的實驗中,隨機執行實驗組(穿著功能性足弓鞋墊)或控制組(穿著原廠Mizuno 釘鞋配附的平底鞋墊)的快速直球投擲各15 球,共30 球。投手投擲過程中以測速槍、高速攝影機、加速規分別記錄跨步腳膝關節和踝關節偏移、跨步腳著地衝擊、直球球速及控球穩定。結果:本研究發現使用功能性足弓鞋墊顯著減少投手投球時膝關節偏移(p < .05)。結論:棒球投手使用功能性足弓鞋墊能顯著的改善膝關節的穩定度且踝關節穩定度也有趨勢性的提升。建議未來研究可以在功能性足弓鞋墊的材質和厚度上作進一步的研究,並針對較低層級(少棒、青少棒及青棒)的棒球投手測試功能性足弓鞋墊對其投球速度和控球表現的影響。
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of functional insole with arch support on the stabilities of the knee and ankle joint of the lead foot, the impact force of the lead foot, fastball velocity, and pitching control of baseball pitchers. Methods: Twenty-two Division I collegiate baseball pitchers participated in this study (179 ± 5 cm; 78 ± 10 kg). This study was a repeated measures design. All subjects were randomly assigned to perform as the experimental group (wearing functional insole with arch support) or control group (wearing flat insole) in one day. Subjects pitched 15 fastballs for each group, totally 30 fastballs. During pitching, the stabilities of knee and ankle joint of the lead foot, the impact force of lead foot, fastball velocity, and pitching control were recorded by high speed cameras, a speed gun, and a tri-axial accelerometer. Results: The experimental group was statistically significant improvement in the stability of knee of lead foot while comparing to the control group (p < .05). Conclusions: Wearing functional insole with arch support would increase the stability of knee of the lead foot. There was a trend of increase in the stability of ankle of the lead foot. Further research would be needed to investigate the thickness and material of insole and the effect of functional insole with arch support on the pitching velocity and control of the pitchers at lower levels.
