聚碳酸酯樹脂(Polycarbonate Resin , PC樹脂)的發展及其製程已相當成熟,各產業間產品質量不易區隔,以致購買者容易在價格上作比較,並以成本導向採購。面對市場競爭與議價,PC樹脂業者於服務創新上,也應配合新進的策略思維,以提升其附加值與持續的競爭優勢。
本研究以PC樹脂事業之商業模式為主軸,探討服務創新及如何優化競爭力策略提升。以知名石化塑料業者I公司為研究分析對象,透過專家訪談、文獻探討、五力分析、SWOT分析,並深究其各標竿同業,對於PC樹脂事業的策略作深度訪談及績效指標比較以及商業模式分析。最後,以如何持續優化並營造競爭優勢,順應環境的演變,規劃因應環境變遷的策略方向,快速調整戰術和戰略,探討PC樹脂行業競爭力提升策略的建議。
This study aims to analyze the competitiveness and service innovations for business growth in Polycarbonate Resin Cause sector. By taking the famous manufacturer-I of petrochemical plastic materials as the research object, Porter’s 5 Force Analysis and SWOT framework were adopted to evaluate the company’s competitiveness and business environment for strategic positioning. Multiple case studies and in-depth expert interviews were conducted to explore the strategic business models used in PC Resin products.
While the quality of the products is very difficult to differentiate between companies, consumers tend to compare prices and switch to other supplies with lower costs. PC Resin should cooperate with advanced development thinking in service innovation for improving competitive advantages and added values in the industry.
Based on Business Model Canvas framework, the profit model of the studied objects were analyzed from nine aspects. The business model diagrams of five case companies investigated are compared to explore the position of these companies in the PC Resin industry. Managerial implications and strategies were proposed to the benchmarked case company helping competitiveness and business growth.
