Abstract:	The purpose of this study was to compare 2002 Asia Game with 3ird National Game of elite men's artistic gymnastics of routine on Floor Exercise, Pommel Horse, Rings, Parallel Bar and Horizontal Bar, Analyzes 80 athletes’ performance during the five of event in Finals of Men's Artistic Gymnastics Competition in the 2002 Asia Game and the 3rd National Game, we focus on the starting values on frequency of difficult elements for five of the events. The derived conclusions are summarized as follows: 1. On Floor Exercise, Parallel Bar, and Horizontal Bar, the start value were significantly difference between the 2002 Asia gymnasts and the 2003 National Game gymnasts(*p＜.05), 2. On Floor Exercise, Parallel Bar, and Horizontal Bar, there have low starting value because they were lack D-part and E-parts elements of connection in their performance of Men's Artistic Gymnastics Competition of the 3rd National Game. 3. Domestic gymnasts performed D-part or E-parts elements of connection to gains bonus to improved starting value. Their performance had good construction in their routine, and in accordance with the stipulation of the 2001-2004 men's artistic gymnastics Code of Point.
