In recent years, leisure activities and sports have been popular in Taiwan. Taiwanese consumers pay more attention on health issues and emphasize on leisure than decays ago. Sportswear and casual wear with the sense of the fashionable style have gotten a great demand. Thus, this study was to apply the image of glass mosaic to casual wear through the theory of the image transformation. Based on the image transformation theory, the present study selected the pure white with elasticity fabric, fabric with mosaic patterns, and the breathable transparent fabrics to create the fashionable, exclusive, and comfortable casual wear. To add the sense of refresh and vitality, the study transformed those images into the bright colors and pure white tone in the clothing. The present study will help designers to transform arts into apparel design as well as help marketers to stress on this new market of casual wear.
