In this study, the flame resistant foam materials made from polyurethane (PU) / polylactic acid (PLA) composite with different ratio of Tris(1-chloro-2-propyl) phosphate (TCPP)/ montmorillonite clay (Clay), the mechanical and forming properties of PU/PLA foam materials were investigated by pore size, hardness, impact strength, tensile stretch strain, elastic recovery and compression strength. From experimental results that the pore size of the foam material increased with CLAY increasing, but the density, impact strength, hardness, elastic recovery, compression properties, tensile strain of PU/PLA foam were decreased. Moreover, the flame resistant PU/PLA at mixing ratio 80/20 and TCPP / CPC-Clay at 1.0/ 0, 0.8/0.2 had were got better density and mechanical properties.
