Trauma-writing is not only an important way of expression to Taiwanese writer Ciou Miao-Jin's collections, but also is her unique style. This study focuses on the writer how to turn her own life experience into the novel "Critical Point". Based on the theory of the mirror stage, first, to analyze the main character self-identity and the interactive relationship between others, then, to reveal the trauma archetype and explain how it be transformed in novel by quoting Ciou Miao-Jin's diary. Through studying her novel "Critical Point", we gain on a deeper understanding and appreciation toward the purpose of the novel.
