從上世紀末迄今，層出不窮的重大意外與災難事件似乎顯示風險社會的來臨。而在 風險社會的境況中，個人生涯也面臨難以欲知與掌控的危機，生涯樣貌或型態也隨之更 加不連續性、多樣性、變化性，因此我們需要新的生涯概念視框。本研究計畫 聚焦於個體生涯危機或轉折，包括失業或破產、以及中年危機等，並嘗試以生涯韌性 （resilience）與穿越歷程（passage）概念為探究視框，而且本研究視生涯危機為個體生 涯或生命進行創造性轉化的重要機會點。 為了達到這樣的目標，本研究預計以三年為時幅，規劃了三個相互交疊的研究主 軸，一是收集過去台灣所累積的個案生命敘說碩博士論文，抽取生涯危機與轉折的經驗 或現象敘說，進行次級資料分析，嘗試建立生涯韌性與穿越之初步架構。其次，另外找 尋經歷過失業或中年危機等生涯危機，並已經過創造性轉化歷程的當事人進行深度訪 談，焦點集中於如何通過其生涯危機的歷程與狀態，以進一步精緻化生涯韌性與穿越的 概念視框。最後，則將研究範圍擴大到家庭，因為家庭是個人身涯發展的關鍵社會支持 以及壓力，因此擴大探索生涯危機中的家庭韌性與集體穿越歷程。預期本研究將開創一 個重要研究議題，而且是符合未來社會趨勢所需。
Many major disasters and catastrophes have indicated a risk society is forming in this century. Living in this society, personal career is facing many potential crises which are hard to predict and control. The career types have become more diverse and changeable. A new perspective for career development is needed. This research focuses on personal career crises and changes including unemployment, bankruptcy, and middle life crisis, etc.. I will use the concepts of career resilience and passage as the exploring perspective, and view career crisis as a turning point of creative transformation. In order to achieve my goals, I design a three-year research project including three overlapping research topics. The first one is to collect all of the theses and dissertations published in Taiwan which using narrative approach as the research method, and conduct a meta-analysis. Secondly, I will conduct in-depth interviews with people who have experienced career crises such as unemployment or middle life crisis and have gone through creative transformation process. My focus is the experience and the process of overcoming career crisis, and I will detail their resilience and passage in the process. Lastly, I will expand research range to their families. Family acts as a role of social support and stress source for personal career development. Exploring family resilience and collective passage process is a meaningful and important research issue. Career crisis is an important research issue and gaining its importance in time. I expect my research will meet the needs of current and future society.
