LED is widely used in illumination of office, commercial exhibition, histrionics and indoor space. It is necessary for the users to understand the actual color properties of the LED light before further deploying them into various applications where high precision color handling is demanded. This study looks into the color characteristics of an off-the-shelf LED lamp. A non-linear correction model was then used to calibrate the color of the LED light. The results indicate the possibility to better manage the color of the LED light.
