This thesis is mainly research of Chinese Flute Music Style in Malaysia and Singapore;interpretation and analysis of Wu Di and Bhoshambo(The dance of Shiva). This two pieces was composed under the influence of 「Southeast Asian Music Style」. Wu Di, was composed by Malaysia’s famous composer, Simon. Su Leong Kong, in 2009. The playing method of bamboo flute and Malay’s Kompang mainly represent the Malay music style. Bhoshambo, a duet of bamboo flute and Indian Bansuri that arranged by Kok Jun Phang form Carnatic Music. With the consent of composer, only the solo of Bansuri version will be used during the graduation concert. The interpretation and analysis of this two pieces will mainly focus on Southeast Asia theme and articulation that have been used. Sincerely hope that this research could be a reference for academic and performer in future.
