    大一學生對使用無線即時應答系統的滿意度調查

    無線即時應答系統或稱為觀眾應答回饋系統是一種老師藉由電腦為平台,而其學生利用手機來做回答,並將所有的回饋透過投影螢幕立即顯示出來。目的在於協助學生在學習過程中,增加與其他同學及老師的互動學習。本研究主要著重於在使用這種即時回饋系統後,學生的學習滿意度及參與學習程度之調查。
    57名大一英文初級班的學生接受了這項研究調查。授課老師在每單元的教學中都利用KAHOOT無線即時應答系統來設定教學相關題目,在教學完成後讓學生利用手機登入系統並作答。參與學生在學期末則需填寫對系統的滿意度問卷。此外,授課老師也會對學生的課程參與度做觀察與紀錄。研究結果顯示,大部分的學生喜歡在課程中加入這種即時回饋的互動式遊戲。此系統不但增加了學生與老師之間的互動,同時也改善了他學生的注意力。授課老師也發現這種系統可以當成形成式測驗,即時知道學生對於課程的了解度。然而,未來也許要著重於學生在使用了這種系統後,是否會改善他們的學習成效。
    ABSTRACT
    Audience Response System (ARS) is a form of interactive learning that aims at enhancing the learning experiences of learners by directly connecting each student with the teacher in a classroom. The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between students’ satisfaction and their involvement in using audience response system. The benefits, uses, and challenges of using ARS in classrooms were also examined.
    Questionnaires were administered to fifty-seven students to obtain the relevant data of students’ satisfaction about using ARS (Kahoot) in the classrooms. This study also used instructor’s observation to analyze the students’ behavior in the classroom especially on attendance, participation and interaction. The results of this study indicated that quite a number of the students liked the idea of using ARS in the classroom mostly because it enhanced interaction and increased their attention. In addition, the study found out that ARS could be used as a tool for formative assessment. It promoted and allowed the dynamic engagement of students in the classroom by providing immediate two-way communication between the teacher and the students. The results of this study suggest that more researches are needed to investigate how students can improve their language learning achievement through using ARS.
