摘要: | 根據國內文化資產保存法的定義,文化資產具有歷史、文化、藝術、科學等價值。文化資產的價值通常不止一種且有時候經常附帶許多附加價值。若單一文化資產的價值越多則代表著該項文化資產被保存的重要性越高,保存適當甚至能夠再現當時的生活習慣及文化差異等。在文化資產的保存中,產業遺產扮演一個特殊的角色,這些特質使得產業遺產在文化資產的範疇中具有極高的保存價值,而產業遺產的再利用也應該重新被討論。
臺北南門工場為臺灣唯一精製樟腦與鴉片的重要工場,同時亦為第一代專賣局辦公廳舍所在地,屬於產業遺產的範疇,而保存的價值以區位、空間及時間討論分別為:座落於環境有明顯變化之地點且無搬遷歷史;保有完整的建築群落及產業遺跡;除歷史悠久外,產業本身能夠表達當時的文化脈絡並連結一定程度的社會涵構。南門工場原名為臺灣總督府專賣局臺北南門工場,位於臺北市南昌路一段1號,過去為日治時期加工精製樟腦及鴉片的官營工廠,迄今已有百餘年歷史,現名為臺灣菸酒公司南昌門市,與臺灣菸酒公司(前專賣局廳舍)共列為國定古蹟,並由國立臺灣博物館經營管理為博物館展示園區。本論文期望藉由研究臺北南門工場再利用為展示空間的過程,重新思考產業遺產保存的價值與再利用的意義;討論空間與展示內容的關係與可能面臨的問題,並試圖以博物館學的相關理論探討產業遺產再利用為博物館後,對於文化展示及再現相關的議題,進而作為未來產業遺產再利用為相關機能後的參考依據,並期望這項思維能提供未來相關規劃及研究一個新的方向。
本研究的論文架構主要分為緒論、本文及結論三部分。緒論為前言旨在界定與本論文相關的名詞定義及文獻回顧;本文分為三個章節,第二章主要進行博物館學相關理論的回顧與整理,第三章分為兩部分,首先探討樟腦、阿片的產業結構與文化史,進而與臺北南門工場的發展歷史及工場空間變遷研究連結;第四章為臺北南門工場修復、再利用的歷程及作為博物館後的展示;最後以博物館文化展示與再現的角度,討論臺北南門工場修復與作為博物館再利用過程,進而提出結論與建議。
In accordance with the definition of the national Cultural Heritage Preservation Act, cultural assets have the values of history, culture, art and science. The value of the cultural assets is oftentimes not only classified into one kind but is sometimes considered numerous values. If the value of the single cultural asset is thought to be more in amount, the importance of the preservation of the cultural asset is relatively high as well. To be specific, the appropriate preservation is even able to rehabilitate the living styles and cultural differences then. In the preservation of the cultural assets, the industrial heritage plays a particular role. These characteristics enable the industrial heritage in the domain of the cultural asset to be at an extreme high value of preservation. What’s more, the adaptive reuse of the industrial heritage should also be discussed again.
The thesis anticipates through the research of the adaptive reuse of the exhibition process in the Taipei Camphor Factory to rethink the significance of the value of the industrial heritage and the reuse, discussing the relationship of the space with the exhibition content and the possible problems. Furthermore, the thesis attempts to probe into the industrial heritage reused into a museum via the learned theories from the museum. In regard with the related issues of cultural exhibition and representation, the thesis aims to use the mentioned theories to be the future research accordance for the reuse of the industrial heritage and hopes this thinking logic can be able to provide related future plans and a new pathway to the research.
The structure of the thesis is mainly categorized into three categories, the introduction, the body, and the conclusion. The introduction aims to define the definition of the related nouns with the thesis and the literature review. The body is discussed into three chapters. The second chapter mainly states the related theories and the retrospection with the compilation from the museum. The third chapter is discussed into two parts. In the beginning, the thesis discusses the industrial structure and the cultural history of the camphor and the opium and connects the development of the Taipei Camphor Factory to the research of the relocation of the factory. The fourth chapter emphasizes on the restoration of the Taipei Camphor Factory and the process of the reuse as the museum for exhibition afterwards. At last, the thesis focuses on the cultural exhibition in the museum and the different aspects of the representation, as well as, the restoration of the Taipei Camphor Factory, which is viewed as the reusing process for the museum and brings up the conclusion and the suggestions in the long run. |
