The nonwovens with different basis-weights made of spunbonded polyster fiber were used. These nonwovens were treated using water repellentcy to improve the disadvantages of the black sunblind empolyed as covering material for the Greenhouse. The effect of various water-repelling agents and the change of the coating angles on the waterproof properties of the nonwovens treated was investigated in this study. The results show that the smaller the coating angle, the better the waterproof property of nonwoven. The fluorine-contained agent has the best performance between the water-repelling agents, and the silicon-oil emulgent is the second.
