The fine denier polyester fabric was printed by ICI dispersol Navy 5R-PC dyestuff and then using alkali agent for resist-discharge with wet on wet and H.P.S. processes, the effect of mixing ratio of alkali agent on resist-discharge and physical properties of fabric had been extensively studied. Based on experimental results, when strong base was used, the resis-dischargeablity and strength of fabrics decreased, and the reduction of weight of fabric increased with base. The Na2CO3 as agent for resist-discharge printing could obtain the effective results and keep good physical properties of fabrics.
