Glass fiber and polypropylene were used as the reinforced fiver and the matrix fiber in this study. The commingled yarn was spun by Hollow-spindle spinner. The wrappin mold method was employed to form the sample of hot press, and to improve immersion effect of the thermoplastic composite material and investigate their mechanical properties. The results, show that the immersion effect of the composite material manufactured using commingled yarn can be improved. The tensile strength and impact energy of the thermoplastic composite material increased with increasing treatment temperature in lower the treatment temperature region, decreased with increasing treatment temperature in higher the treatment temperature region.
