    摘要: 文殊菩薩為初期大乘時期一位卓越的菩薩,為初期大乘經所讚嘆。向來被認為是智慧的化身,為一切諸佛菩薩之師,有三世佛母之稱。傳說文殊從東方來,文殊本願可說是東方阿閦佛本願的再說。顯示著初期大乘的「文殊法門」與東方有關。文殊說法「皆依勝義,但說深法」,直接從法性不生不滅的第一義諦說起,在以「無住為本」的畢竟空中,體認到「一切諸法,本悉清淨」,並在此見地上說「煩惱即菩提」。更從「緣起、空、中道」的佛法正見,直探釋尊本懷,強調男女的平等。文殊菩薩重法輕律的傾向,更將初期大乘菩薩行者的風格表露無遺。
