從臺灣產業發展史來看，臺灣曾是世界知名的袋包箱王國及製鞋王國，精湛的製作工藝，在國際間擁有高知名度，但高等教育人才培育直至近年才逐漸獲得重視。本研究以文獻分析法從臺灣高等教育袋包與人才培育發展沿革探討臺灣高等教育袋包與人才培育現況與發展，精述其發展歷程；並從學校數、班級數、學生數、師資結構、四個面向闡述臺灣高等教育袋包及鞋靴人才培育發展沿革，並探析相關科系教育目標、課程發展，以及課程規劃。
According to the history of bags and luggage industrial development in Taiwan, it used to be called ＂bags and luggage kingdom＂ or ＂footwear kingdom＂ by world-famous superb crafts. However, the high education and talent cultivation of bags or footwear related industries are just gradually thought highly in recent years. This study probed into the bags and footwear talent cultivation of higher education in Taiwan by documentary analysis, described the present status and history development in detail. This in-depth analysis of educational goals, curriculum planning, future development of related departments based on four aspects, the number of schools, classes, students, and teacher structure.
