摘要: | This study focused on the preparation and mechanical evaluation of the hybrid laminated compound fabric. High resilience bonding polyester (HRBP) with low melting point of 170℃ and crimped hollow polyester (CHP) was applied to fabricate the hybrid nonwoven fabric through needle-punching and thermal-bonding. Kevlar and carbon woven fabrics were laminated to form the intra/inter-ply hybrid laminates. The comparison of the air permeability and mechanical performance of thermal treated and non-treated hybrid nonwovens and the Kevlar and carbon reinforced hybrid laminates were investigated. The result reveals that thermal treatment can enhance the overall performance of the samples and Kevlar and carbon reinforcement improve the mechanical performance in different aspects, respectively. |
