摘要: | 尼可拉‧德‧史泰耶(Nicolas de Staël)是二次世界大戰後,崛起於歐洲的新抽象藝術的代表性畫家之一。德‧史泰耶於1932年正式進入美術學院習畫,1943年以畫家身分自居,至1954年與世長辭,在這短短22年的創作歲月裡,他經常到處旅行遊覽,藉以增進藝術視覺的敏銳度,生活期間雖歷經了戰亂,但也在這時候有機會接觸前衛抽象藝術的畫家們,進而決定朝抽象創作邁進。出生於俄國的德‧史泰耶,戰後幾乎生活在法國地區,因而法國藝壇對他的影響自然不在話下,自立體派(Cubism)的半抽象繪畫表現再到康丁斯基(Kandinsky)的抽象繪畫精神等,都對德‧史泰耶的創作起著潛移默化極大的作用。基於德‧史泰耶受到此環境因素的影響,筆者先行探究法國抽象藝術的發展背景,再接續地對畫家德‧史泰耶的繪畫創作作一深入的研究。
德‧史泰耶所繪抽象藝術的蛻變大致從具象步上抽象,再由抽象回歸基本形象。在創作蛻變的過程中,德‧史泰耶運用色面美感所營造的抒情風貌,令筆者深受感動。另外,德‧史泰耶也十分重視內在精神的表達,他擷取了外在真實世界的形象,並把它轉化為抽象元素的結構,最後通過繪畫的色彩與線條,將自我周遭的生活體驗或情感經歷轉換至畫布上。而這種呈現自我的繪畫表現,同樣地令筆者感到無比的震撼。因此,筆者希望透過對德‧史泰耶的生平背景與環境,以及繪畫風格與理念等研究,來探討其藝術創作的表現手法,從中尋求對抽象美的體會與認識,並在個人的漆畫繪畫創作中,延伸出更多新的可能創作形式,讓觀者感受到畫面所賦予的生命活力。
Nicolas de Staël (1914~1954)) was one of the representative artist of new abstract art, which rose abruptly in Europe after the Second World War. In 1932, De Staël officially entered into the Academy of fine arts to learn painting. Since 1943, he began to identify himself as an artist, and eventually died in 1954. During this short period of 22 years of creation, he made frequent travels and tours, in order to enhance his acuity of vision art. Although he experienced wars in his life, it was also at this time that he could have the opportunity to be exposed to vanguard abstract artists, and then decided to begin his abstract painting. De Staël, born in Russia, made his living most of his time in France, thus, French artistic communities imposed great influence on him which couldn’t be overemphasized. From semi-abstract paintings drawn from the Cubism to abstract painting spirit from Kandinsky, all of which exerted a subtle influence on De Staël 's painting. Based on influences from other schools on De Staël, the author first explores the background of the development of abstract art in France, and then continues to make an in-depth study of De Staël 's painting creation.
De Staël's transformation of the abstract art was generally abstracted from representational steps, and then to the basic images. In the process of transformation of creation, by presenting a sense of beauty created by the use of color, De Staël created a lyrical style which moved the author profoundly. In addition, De Staël also attached great importance to the expression of inner spirit. He captured the image of the external reality and turned it into the structure of the abstract elements, finally presented the life experience or emotion experience around him on the canvas by colors and lines in painting. And this painting performance, presenting the self, also gets the author exceedingly shocked. Therefore, the author is going to discuss De Staël’s ways of expression in art creation through a study of his life background and environment and his painting style and concept, to produce more new possible creation forms in personal painting creation of lacquer, so that audiences are able to enjoy vitality the pictures show. |
