| Abstract: | 兒童肥胖率提高在台灣是不容忽視的問題，一旦罹患肥胖後再減重是困難的過程，因此及早預防不當的體重增加是較好的策略。家庭是影響兒童飲食行為、活動及生活習慣的重要因子，本文旨在探討家庭對兒童肥胖的影響，分成家庭物質環境及家庭社會環境兩個層面。（1）家庭物質環境：包括家庭飲食供應、在家進食／與家人共餐、身體活動及生活習慣相關器材與設施；（2）家庭社會環境：包括父母的角色典範、家人關係、教養行為等。本文回顧相關文獻後，針對兒童肥胖預防提出家庭方面的建議。
The increasing prevalence of childhood obesity is a serious problem in Taiwan. Preventing inappropriate weight gain is a better strategy for maintaining a healthy weight than is losing weight, since it is difficult to lose weight once it is gained. The home environment has been identified as a key influence on the diet, physical activity and life style of children. This paper reviews the role of both the physical and social environment of the home on childhood obesity: (1) Physical environment: food availability, home meal/eating with family members, amenities for physical activity or life style; (2) social environment: parents' role modeling, family relationships and parenting. After reviewing the relevant literature, the author makes recommendations for preventing childhood obesity focused on the home environment. |
