本研究旨在瞭解台北地區大專院校大學生飲食行為、社會體型焦慮及自尊之現況及相關性。本研究採用問卷調查法,以立意取樣抽選台北地區大專院校一年級學生為研究對象,共發出900份問卷,實得有效樣本766份。研究工具包括「個人背景資料」、「運動階段問卷」、「飲食行為量表」、「社會體型焦慮量表」及「自尊量表」。所得資料經電腦統計套裝軟體SPSS for Windows 12.0進行處理,以描述性統計、獨立樣本t檢定、單因子變異數分析及皮爾遜積差相關為統計分析方法。研究結果如下:(1)台北地區大專院校大學生具有中等程度的正確飲食行為、社會體型焦慮及自尊。(2)台北地區大專院校大學生之飲食行為會因不同運動階段及BMI而有顯著差異。(3)台北地區大專院校大學生之社會體型焦慮會因不同性別、飲食行為、運動階段及學群而有顯著差異。(4)台北地區大專院校大學生之自尊會因不同社會體型焦慮、飲食行為及運動階段而有顯著差異。(5)台北地區大專院校大學生之飲食行為與社會體型焦慮有顯著負相關,但與自尊有顯著正相關;而社會體型焦慮與自尊有顯著負相關。根據上述研究結果,建議將飲食及運動相關議題融入學校教育的課程中,以提升學生對於健康飲食的認知,並瞭解運動的重要性,進而讓學生能有更健康的生活習慣及態度。
This study aimed to understand the current status of dietary behavior, social physique anxiety and self-esteem of college students in Taipei and the relationships among the three. The study was conducted in questionnaire investigation and was targeted on college freshmen in Taipei, who were selected by purposive sampling. There were 900 questionnaires sent out to the subjects and 766 effective samples were collected. Processed by SPSS for Windows 12.0, data were analyzed by descriptive analysis, independent-sample t-test, one-way ANOVA, and Pearson product-moment correlation. The findings of the study: (1) Correct dietary behavior, social physique anxiety and self-esteem of college students in Taipei (hereafter called “the students”) have were at the medium level. (2) The dietary behavior of the students would have significant difference from different stages of exercise and BMI. (3) Social physique anxiety of the students would significantly differ from their gender, dietary behaviors, exercise stages and their departments. (4) Self-esteem of the students would have significant difference according to their social physique anxiety, dietary behavior and stages of exercises. (5) There was a significant negative correlation between dietary behavior and social physique anxiety, but there would be a significant positive correlation between dietary behavior and self-esteem while the negative correlation appeared between social physique anxiety and self-esteem of the students. Based on the results of the study, it is suggested that issues related to dietary and exercise be implemented into curriculum to enhance students’ knowledge of health dietary and the importance of exercise to help them establish a health life.
