三種省產籐材纖維飽和點以上之縱向及全面水份移動速度較木材快,此係受大型導管及多量薄壁細胞影響,但纖維飽和點以下水份移動速度較木材慢了甚多,顯然地,籐材於纖維飽和點以下進行適度的乾燥是必要的。三藤材之纖維飽和點於各高度間無顯著差異,其值介於23.27%-33.78%,FSP之總平均28.05%,與木材很相近。
The speed of moisture movement of three rattan species above fiber saturation point (FSP) in the longitudinal direction and whole section is quicker than that of wood, that is due to large diameter vessel and abundant parenchyma cells but below FSP, it shows the contrary tendency. Apparently, adequate dryness should be done while the moisture content of rattan material is below FSP. FSP of all three rattan species show no significant difference between different heights. Average FSP is 28.05% varying from 23.27% to 33.78% which is similar to that of wood.
