In this study, Microspheres were prepared by a simple coacervation method. Poly(vinyl alcohol)(PVA) was used as wall-membrane material and lavender essential oil was used as core material. The cloud point of PVA was investigated by added the Na2SO4. The glutaraldehyde blended acetic acid was used as crosslinking agent. The factors of release temperature and stirring rate were investigated for discussed the controlled release and surface morphology of PVA microspheres. The results indicated that the particle size decreased with increasing stirring rate as well as size distribution became narrow. But the stirring rate was not affected oil encapsulated significantly. The release rate increased with increasing the treated temperature. The effect of oil release up to 100% compared the PVA microspheres with pure essential oil without wall membrane at 50℃.
