摘要: In this paper, the naming system of body's image patterns is a representative phrase system about the body's metaphor of traditional San-he-yuan's dwelling in Taiwan. By studying the example of traditional dwelling, the semantics and horizon of language in naming system are discussed. The body's metaphorical process is implicated in the problems of practical creation of meaning, significance and reference.
The naming of body's image patterns can be seen as 「Controlled metaphor」, which refers to the tension of literal and metaphorical explanations between body and dwelling. In the literal sense, the phrase ”Not to be” which ”controls” the natural ”tension” between two things through one's perception of time-space imagery synthesis (the significance of Chiness word pattern) and directs the meaning to be ”just to be as”, delimits the ambiguous meaning of ”just to be as” and pushes it to another pole, makes it belonging to another judgment 「to be」 this is a process of expansion from meaning to reference. By ”controlling” the natural ”tension”, ”metaphor” will have some characteristics of a scientific ”model”. The body's metaphorical process is ”a process of humanizing the nature”, a scientific model.
