雲林縣離島工業區開發將影響鄰近區域生態環境,因而於施工期間進行生態環境監測,以追蹤鄰近區域生態受影響程度,俾便進行減輕或改善措施之研擬。八十六年度陸域植物生態監測樣區為新吉濁水溪口、海豐蚊港橋、臺西三姓寮、臺西五塊厝、林厝寮木麻黃造林地、林厝寮混合造林地及箔子寮海防哨等七處,設定20x20平方公尺固定樣區進行長期觀察。本年度監測季節為冬、春夏三季,跨越86後半年及87年半年。各樣區植被型態以人工造林地及天然植被為主,前者包括林麻黃防風林及闊葉混合造林地,後者包括以蘆葦為主之草澤地及苦楝、紅仔珠為主之生林地。監測結果冬季共記錄44科100種植物,計又雙子葉植物76種,單子葉23種,多為近海平野次生種類,其中蕨類僅1種,顯示整體偏向乾燥環境。春季共記錄45科107種植物,包括蕨類1種、雙子葉物83種、單子葉23種。夏季共記錄46科114種植物,包含蕨類1種、雙子葉物87種、單子葉26種。全區以禾本科植物為最多,菊科次之,大戟科占第三位,其餘各科種類皆在5種以下。監測調查樣區內並未發現珍貴稀有植物。
The development of Yun-lin estate industrial area seriously affects the ecosystem of neighborhood. The purpose of ecological environment monitoring is to propose the mitigation method of environmental impact by continuously observe the changes of ecosystem during the construction stage. Total seven monitoring stations were established along the coast of Yun-lin County. The size of sampling plot is 20x20 square meters each. The monitoring started from December 1987 to July 1997. The winter investigation found 100different species from 44 families in this area, including 76 dicotyledonous, 23 monocotyledons and one fern. Spring investigation observed 107 species from 45 families, including one fern, 83 dicotyledons, and 23 monocotyledons. The summer monitoring recorded 114 species of 46 families. There are 87 dicotyledons, 26 monocotyledons and one fern in this season. The vegetation types of the investigation area include typical coastal plants and artificial plantation. Poaceae is the dominant family in the annual investigation result and the Asteraceae family follows. The natural succession goes well in most investigation sites except in the Casuarina plantation.
