The main purpose of this study is analyzing and comparing the absorbance and frequency range of different electromagnetic wave absorbers. The experimental variable were stainless steel yarn with different inner structure via different composition, say 5%, 10%, 20%, 100%, knitting to form a plain weave knitted structure as a screen of monolayer electromagnetic absorbers. The advantages of plain weave knitting to form a thin and light electro-magnetic wave absorber were the fluffy structure. The results showed the absorbing effect were 25-30dB.
