In the past, the design of elevation tints in at1as was emphasized in colors grading and ignore the real landform. It is easy to make the map readers misunderstanding.
In this reseach, six at1as was selected to disscuss the relationship between colors arid elevations. The resu1ts of elevation tinsts division in Taiwan are: under 0 meter (sea level), 0 meter to 100 meter (plain), 100 meter to 1000 meter (hill) and above 1000 meter (mountain), which is the best way to show the characteristics of Taiwan.
