^(13)C NMR spectral data of the cyclometalated complex (μ-H)_2Os_3(CO)_7(CNPr){Ph_2PCHP(Ph)C_6H_4} are reported. The ^(13)C and ^1H signals of the ortho-metalated phenyl ring and the activated CH group of the coordinated dppm ligand were assigned by use of the inverse-detected ^1H-^(13)C shift correlation spectra (HMQC and HMBC) as well as the ^1H-^1H homonuclear correlation (COSY) spectrum. The ortho-metalated carbon exhibited a characteristic down-field resonance at δ 146.25, whereas the activated methylene carbon showed significantly high-field absorption at δ 5.35, suggesting an unusual ring-size effect of the fused rings in the molecule.
