臺灣省西部主要自來水處理中心，針對其具有代表性之水源、處理前後之水、以及區內自來水及非自來水等五十二種水樣，進行螢光物質和金屬鹽類含量之測定結果顯示:處理過之水質較能符合臺灣自來水之飲用標準。
The water quality of the major water treatment plants on theTaiwan's west area were evaluated. The 52 water samples include thereservoir, the inlet water, the outlet water, the tapwater in supply line,and the underground water in the vicinity area of every major water treatment plants. The quality of treated water is better than that of untreated waterand more suitable for drinking.
