    摘要: 在台灣與日本九州間之黑潮之複雜流徑被假設是受到其間之一串列的島嶼及海底地形之影響。本研究在運用數值模擬來計算黑潮之流徑所受到島嶼及海底地形之影響程度。 一個正壓數值模式被建立用來實驗島嶼及海底地形之影響,其結果顯示琉球群島將會使黑潮之流徑分裂成兩部份。其中的一部份沿著琉球群島北方的大陸坡前進,另一部份沿著琉球群島南方前進。而蘇澳海脊之地形會造成黑潮之蜿蜒而行,甚而有時形成漩渦。如果黑潮之體積運輸量大增,則黑潮會將更多的流量至黃海及臺灣北部,以及會產生沿黑潮主軸之流經呈波浪狀。它也顯示了在低水平摩擦係數下,它的波浪形蜿蜒流之振幅會更大。而在高水平摩擦係數會使在蘇澳海脊發生的蜿蜒流或漩渦變得不明顯。
    The Kuroshio region between Taiwan and Kyushu is characterized by a series of islands and a great variable bottom topography. The numericalmodel is applied to calculate the kuroshio path for different flow conditionsin order to understand the roles of these factors. A barotropic numerical model is used to study the Ryukyu islands and bottom topographic effects on the path dynamic of Kuroshio. It is shown that Ryukyu islands will separate the Kuroshio into two axes. One flows almost along the line of continental slope and another flows along the south of Ryukyu islands. In the Su-Ao ridge.the meander or eddy appears there,which is due to the bottom topographic effect. If the volume transport inincresed ,it will bring more water into Yellow Sea and the region north ofTaiwan, and it will produce greater amplitude of wave type circulation alongthe main axis of Kuroshio. The model study also shows that the lower value of coefficient of horizontal dissipation will produce the greater meander amplitude, and the higher value of the coefficient will diminish the eddy and meander phenomena not clear in region of Su-Au ridge.
