    Abstract: 了解學生在翻譯方面的優缺點有助翻譯教學的成功。本文根據民國九十及九十一學年度,中國文化大學英文系三年級同學的翻譯課作業,例舉典型的優缺點,提供讀者一個孔道,窺看豹的一斑,以便明瞭當今英文系同學,在翻譯方面的善與失,作爲翻譯教學的一個參考。
    It would be a great help to the success of translation teaching if the instructor had a better understanding of students' strength as well as their weakness in translation. The examples of both satisfactory and less satisfactory translations have been chosen from the works by the juniors majoring in English literature at the Chinese Culture University in the academic years 2001-2002 and 2002-2003 to serve as a peek-hole for people to have a glimpse of the whole picture.
