Abstract:	在行政院主導下，我國「國家資訊通信基本建設專案推動小組」正積極展開我國各項資訊高速網路的規劃與建設，並推動可應用於資訊高速網路上的各種先導系統之測試，包括交由教育部主導的「遠距教學先導系統」。利用目前最新的資訊與高速網路技術，遠距教學先導系統能提供學習者一個不需要與老師面對面授課的雙向、互動的學習途徑。藉著最新的電腦科技，這項系統不但改善了已往遠距教學所缺乏的互動性，更因為多媒體教材之融入，使得遠距教學的效果備受矚目。
