而HF、HFn.u.
Purposes: The purposes of this study were to investigate the effects of hand-standing on heart rate variability (HRV). Methods: Eight colligate gymnasts (age: 20.3±1.6 yrs.) and 8 colligate non-gymnasts (age: 22.3±2.4 yrs.) participated in this study. The wireless heart rate monitor (Polar RS800) was applied to monitor R-R interval for 6 minutes. HRV in sitting position and hand-standing with machine. The significant level was set at .05. Results: Higher LFn.u. and LF/HF in sitting were found in non-gymnasts than in gymnasts. However, significant higher HF and HFn.u were resulted in gymnasts than non-gymnasts (p<.05). The statistical analysis also indicated no significant main effect or interaction effect in all investigated HRV indexes in hand-standing with machine. Nevertheless, Higher HF and HFn.u. in gymnasts was found in sitting position than in hand-standing with machine. Finally, significant higher LFn.u. and LF/HF were resulted in hand-standing with machine than in sitting position (p<.05). Conclusions: Gymnasts possess better controlling and adjusting abilities in Autonomic Nervous System during resting state and better parasympathetic activation in hand-standing with machine.
