    Abstract: 本論文以,從「空間」的角度切入,討論當代女性小說。透過觀察小說中的空間,解讀女性意識與時代的關聯性。
    本論文共分成七個章節,以1949年為起始點,以每十年為一個章,終點至2000年。逐步討論各年代的女性小說裡的空間意涵,區分各年代女性小說類型、關注焦點與空間選擇的差異。討論文本中的空間意涵。
    本文發現台灣當代女性小說,展現女性意識從依附到自主的演進過程。
    The Thesis is titled Studies of Space and Connotation in Taiwan Contemporary Female Fictions. The entry point of core discussion of Female Fiction is through“Space”.It is tried to interpret the connection of the awareness of women's rights to the era via the Space in novels.
    The Thesis is divided into seven chapters. Started from 1949, discuss the means of the Space in Female Fiction step by step in order to clarified the types, focus point and the difference of Space chosen.
    The cut off point of whole Thesis is time that every chapter contains a decade. It is begin to analyze the background characteristic of times, find out the development and feature of Female Fiction during the period and furthermore take the Space in the novel as a clue then discuss the implication.
    The main point is to tell the evolution of awareness of women's rights via Space and emerge the path from dependence to independence.
