摘要: | 仙草(Mesona procumbent)是一種藥食兩用的植物,目前市售的仙草相關產品其價格皆偏低(仙草茶、仙草凍、燒仙草),故本研究期望可以乙醇萃取其有效成分,增加仙草的功能性。本研究以不同乙醇濃度 (20 %、40%、60 %和80 %)萃取仙草,分析萃取物的抗氧化活性:DPPH與ABTS自由基清除能力、還原力;抗氧化成分: 總酚、類黃酮含量,以及測定其細胞抗氧化活性:過氧化氫誘導損傷之保護試驗與細胞內活性氧分子含量測試)。試驗結果得知,在2,2-Diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) 自由基清除能力與2,2'-azino-bis-(3-ethylbenthiazoline sulfonic acid) (ABTS)自由基清除能力、還原力,以及細胞抗氧化活性:過氧化氫誘導損傷之保護試驗與細胞內活性氧分子含量等實驗,皆以60 %乙醇仙草萃取物具有最佳的活性,而20%乙醇萃取物之抗氧化活性最差;測定其總酚與總黃酮二類抗氧化成分,皆以60 %乙醇仙草萃取物含量最高,而20 %乙醇萃取物含量最低。由以上結果可知,60 %乙醇仙草萃取物具有發展機能性食品的潛力,增加仙草的經濟價值。
Hsian-tsao is a medicine and food plant, currently, related products marketed Hsian-tsao are low price (Xiancao tea, grass jelly, grass jelly). Therefore, this study can expect ethanolic extract the active ingredients, increasing the function of Hsian-tsao. This study different with ethanol concentration ( 20 %, 40 %, 60 % and 80 %) and extract of Hsian-tsao, analyze the antioxidant activity of extracts: DPPH and ABTS radical scavenging activity, reducing power; antioxidants: total phenols, total flavonoids test, protects against H2O2-induced Raw 264.7 macrophages and inhibition of reactive oxygen species (ROS) test. The 60 % ethanolic extract of Mesona has the strongest and the 20 % ethanolic extract of Mesona has the worst that DPPH and ABTS scavenge activity, reducing power, protects against H2O2-induced Raw 264.7 macrophages and inhibition of reactive oxygen species (ROS). Measured antioxidant contents, 60 % ethanolic extract has the higest content of Mesona, and 20 % ethanolic extract has the lowest. From the results, 60 % ethanol extract of immortality has the potential to develop functional foods and increase the economic value of Mesona. |
