| 摘要: | 語言中用以傳達意義的一些基本詞語有些可能過於露骨直接，若在溝通的過程中使用它們可能帶給他人負擔甚至反感，另一方面也會拉低自身的格調與教養水準，故在日常生活中多以委婉語的方式來間接表達。委婉語是世界各國語言中普遍存在的語言現象，用以代替社會大眾在使用語言時常避免使用的某些詞語，它多半是使用隱喻或象徵性的方式來間接指稱，在對話中適當地使用則可達到緩和對方心理負擔的效果。
一般而言，我們會使用大量的委婉語來代替與死亡、性及排泄相關的基本詞彙，本文將以韓國語中的委婉語詞彙為基準，將其分成「單字型(단어형)」「短語型(구형)」「句子型(문장형)」並探討台灣中文中是否有相同的表達方式，另外也會將只有韓國或台灣才有的委婉語加以整理，所有的語彙皆附上例句，最後則利用圖表的方式來對照台灣、韓國兩國語言中各領域的委婉語詞彙。
本研究之目的在於從台韓委婉語的詞彙型態及用法上找出異同點，韓國方面既有的比較研究皆以中國大陸使用的中文作為研究對象，缺乏從台灣的角度出發的內容；台灣本土的研究則是清一色以方言為主，更少有將台韓兩國委婉語一起研究的先例，故筆者欲藉此研究比較韓國語和台灣中文的委婉語語彙及其使用現況，衷心期望本文能夠對日後台灣委婉語的研究領域及韓語教育領域有所貢獻。
When some wordings are used directly, it could be a little bit too barefaced, bringing some discomfort or even letting the listeners feel assaulted. Also, it might make the speaker look downgraded and uneducated, therefore Euphemism is often used to express this sort of awkward expression. Euphemism is commonly used and seen in many languages, it is often used to substitute wordings that are frowned upon in the society. It is also used a lot as metaphor or to disguise the basic meaning of the wording. If properly used, it can make the listener feel less embarrassed or burdened during conversation.
Usually, a lot of euphemism is used to substitute and disguise the original meaning of any words that are related to death, sex and excretion. This study will focus on euphemism used in Korean, which will be divided into 3 forms; word form, phrase form and sentence form. This study attempts to explore the euphemism that are both presented in Korean and Chinese, and furthermore to find out if there is equivalent euphemism expressions in Taiwanese Mandarin. The aim of this study is to find the difference between the use of euphemism of the two languages, Korean and Chinese as well as the difference between Chinese and Taiwanese Mandarin. Some studies were done only in Korean and some studies were done to relate Korean to Chinese. But few studies were done to compare the three languages: Korean, Chinese and Taiwanese Mandarin. This study compares the use of euphemism among Korean, Chinese and Taiwanese Mandarin, which exempts Taiwanese local dialects. It hopes that some results of this study to contribute the future euphemism research in Taiwanese Mandarin as well as Chinese. |
