為改善聚苯并噁唑纖維(polybenzoxazole, PBO)之界面性質,以增加纖維表面積與橡膠複合是本研究之目的。應用電子束及電漿照射方法對PBO纖維做表面加工處理,觀察PBO纖維顯微外觀變化、強力和與橡膠間之黏結力,評估其界面處理效果;研究結果顯示,經處理的PBO纖維表面產生微孔且破壞強力,但兩種方法分別可提升纖維與橡膠黏結力41%與58%。
The purpose of this study is to added the surface area of Poly (p-phenylene-2, 6-benzobisoxazole) (PBO) fiber, and improve the interfacial character between fiber and rubber. In this study, electron beam and plasma were used to treat on PBO fiber. SEM observes the surface change of PBO fiber, then the tensile strength and the adhesive force between fiber and rubber will be carried out to examine the effect of treatment. The result shows that, the surface of fiber is roughly and there are some holes on it after treatment. Although the strength of PBO fiber is decreased, the best condition of adhesive force is increase 41% and 58%.
