無版印花是一門嶄新的印染技術，將原設計者的設計圖案，透過硬體輸入方式，將花案圖樣輸入至電腦中。透過色彩編輯處理，再經由系統控制大型噴墨印表機將圖案花色快速地將染料噴印出原設計圖稿在喜愛的媒介上，再經過適當的後處理，製作出客戶所需要的樣布，可使客戶很快的確認其品質及顏色，以及決定下單量。因為傳統的印染法已經逐漸不符合時代潮流，不但費時費力，在獲利上來說，也很難有壓低成本的方法，無版印花完全顛覆了印花打樣的思維，對現今喜愛追求流行的消費者來說，無版印花提供了快速，方便等等優點，對於目前喜歡個性化的社會大眾來說，具有很大的吸引力。此外，在環保方面上，優於傳統印染法的地方是在於印染廢液的減少，降低對環境的汙染。因此，本研究是以無版印花方式對於棉織物進行前處理後再印染。無版印花的技術上最重要問題在於，螢幕的樣本色與印製出來的樣本色相比上有色差的問題。因此在本研究中導演色彩校正模式以改進印製輸出樣品之色彩品質，使噴印樣本的品質趨進於原設記者的創意圖稿。
