    Abstract: 《華抱山》是一部民間的敘事史詩，內容敘述明末無錫鴨城地區華抱山組織公道軍反抗官府之暴斂與財主之欺壓。本文考述四事：（一）此詩之創作時間，（二）今本之形成時間，（三）近代民族意識之融入，（四）詩之原名當為《公道軍》。
