Introduction: the running 1-legged vertical jump is often seen in sports competition, but seldom study focuses on benefit of its training and motion analysis. Purpose: the present study compares the differences of kinematic, kinetic and EMG between different approaching speed and distance on running 1-legged vertical jump. Method: fifteen elite male college volleyball players participated in this study voluntarily. Participants perform running 1-legged vertical jump with different combination of approaching speed and distance randomly. Every combination is performed for 3 times. All data are recorded using synchronized high speed camera (Motion Analysis Corporation, Santa Rosa, CA, USA ), force plate (AMTI Inc., Watertown, MA, USA) and surface EMG (Delsys Inc., Boston, MA, USA.). Two-way ANOVAs (2 approaching speed x 3 approaching distance), complemented with Bonferroni post hoc, are used for establishing differences between approaching conditions. Significance level is set at a= .05.
