本專書計畫主要關注領域為：兩岸新聞專業主義與新聞工作者。由於新聞置入與追逐八卦娛樂的新聞文化，造成深度報導與調查性報導消失，也使得台灣新聞記者工時長、淪為業務寫手、低成就感，與記者職業聲望低落。而中國雖存在著較為市場化與改革派的新聞媒體，近兩年來自政商龐大的箝制壓力，使得新聞改革倒退，帶著腳銬跳舞的空間霎時縮小。 兩岸新聞專業主義的發展，均歷經了崛起與殞落，研究者並不認為，新聞專業的守門功能，將隨著數位化與報業衰退後，消失殆盡。儘管目前兩岸的新聞環境艱難，並不代表新聞專業主義，不可能在另一處重生。因此，本專書計畫將延續研究者一貫對於傳播者的關懷，規劃架構如下： 第一章 緒論：從媒介生態學出發 第二章 兩岸新聞業的場域分析 第三章 新環境制度下的兩岸新聞勞動分析 第四章 新環境制度下兩岸報業經營績效管理個案 第五章 環境變遷下兩岸新聞工作者的專業表現與抗爭分析 第六章 環境變遷下的兩岸新聞人才出走現象分析 第七章 結論：夾縫中生存的新聞專業主義何去何從 研究者希望透過探索兩岸新聞業主義的發展軌跡，並企圖為其尋找新出路，期能促進兩岸媒體經營者與新聞工作者，對於新聞專業主義的認知與進一步追求。 This proposal's main concerns are regarding the journalists and the news professionalism development both in Taiwan and mainland China. Due to the implementation of the product placement marketing in the news realm and the pursuing of sansationalism, several drawbacks have shown up. First, the in-depth reporting and investigative reporting are disappering. Secondly, the journalists are working long hours and for the business sector other than news sector, thus, they feel low achievements. Thirdly, the journalist has low occupational reputation. On the other hand, although mainland China has some market-oriented and reformist media, the giant politial and commerical pressure has made the news reform backwards during the past two years. The space of dancing with shackles has shrunk. The development of news professionalism in Taiwan and mainland China has gone through the rising and decay stages. The researcher don't think that the gatekeeping function of news professionalism will disappear after the digital revolution and the newspaper recession. Despite the current severe news environment in Taiwan and mainland China, it does not mean that the news professionalism could not possibly regenerate in another form. Thus, this proposal will continue the researcher's consistent solicitude for communicators, and propose the book framework as follows: Chapter I: Introduction: Beginning from the media ecology Chapter II : Field analysis of the cross-strait journalism under the new environment Chapter III: News laber analysis of the cross-strait under the new environment Chapter IV: Newspaper performance management studies of the cross-strait cases under the new environment Chapter V: The professional performance and struggle of the cross-strait journalists under the environmental changes Chapter VI: Newspapers’ elites exodus phenomenon of the cross-strait journalists under the environmental changes Chapter VII: Conclusion: Where does the striving for existence of news professionalism go? The researcher hopes to explore the cross-strait development of the news professionalism, and attempt to find a new way out. This book also trys to promote the better understanding and further pursuit of news professionalism from the media owners and the journalists both in Taiwan and mainland China
