摘要: | 合作學習已經被研究了很多年,並且被證明是可以增加學生的習得及增強他們的學習態度。 而電腦輔助教學也在近幾年中被廣泛使用並顯示對學生的學習有幫助。為了要建立一個有效的語言學習環境,本研究發展出了一個針對本課程目標為主的電腦學習平台,並結合了多種的合作學習的活動,將其運用在英文系二年級的寫作課程中。本研究的研究目的在於檢測是否如上所述的合作學習環境會增加學生的學習興趣。針對該課程的16位學生進行問卷調查顯示,學生的學習滿意度在這種學習環境下有顯著的差異。儘管如此,本研究結果也顯示了個人學習也是在語言學習中不可或缺的一種學習方式。因此,老師及學生們要瞭解線上合作學習和個人學習的特性,並善加利用,以期達到語言學習的最大成效。
Cooperative learning has been researching throughout many years considered to be an effective method on promoting higher levels of achievement and retention, as well as enhancing positive attitudes toward student’s learning. In addition, many researchers also mentioned that Computer-Assisted Language Learning (CALL) can promote students’ language learning. In order to establish an effective learning environment, this research applied and integrated a tailor-made software with cooperative learning activities into practice. The purpose of this study was to investigate the student’s satisfaction towards cooperative learning in an English composition class. Questionnaires were administered to 16 students to obtain the relevant data for this study of their satisfaction about the cooperative learning method as well as comparison between online discussion and face-to-face discussion implementing environment. The results indicated that there were significant differences between most students satisfaction with the method of cooperative learning through online discussion system. In addition, this study showed that cooperative learning and individual learning cannot be separated from each other. The results also suggested that both students and teachers need to understand the advantages and disadvantages of online and face-to-face discussion so that they can take the most advantage of the methods for cooperative learning and teaching. |
