臺灣老年人口於2018年將增為14.6%達到高齡社會;未來照顧失能老人已不是個人或家庭所能承擔,機構式照顧將取代部分傳統家庭對老人的照顧功能,本研究目的為探討消費者特性、照護品質和其對消費意願的影響度。
研究架構結合Reynolds 和 Wells (1977) 所提出的消費者特質與Donabedian(1980)所提出的照護品質觀點。研究方式以相關分析針對各變數進行相關係數分析,以瞭解其關聯性與相關程度,並且以迴歸分析,來檢定本研究各變數間之影響程度,以驗證本研究的假設。
因考量當住民與家屬決定入住護理之家時,大部份的住民無法判斷,家屬多數為最後決策人員,故本研究之樣本調查訪問對象選擇已入住護理之家的住民之消費決策者為調查訪問對象。研究者先以電話或親訪等方式,詢問新北市四家立案護理之家的負責人得其同意協助參與研究之意願,再將問卷紙本以親送的方式遞送至護理之家,委託各家護理之家的負責人或單位護理主管分別發放問卷予住民家屬,以不記名方式填答。填寫完成後由護理之家負責人或護理主管進行問卷回收,兩個星期內研究生至機構取回,以確保問卷填寫之有效性。
問卷發放共計300 份,有效問卷回收率84%。統計分析得出下列研究結果:(1)護理之家消費者之收入及教育程度皆會顯著正向影響消費意願,(2)護理之家照護品質之技術性層面、適意層面及人際層面會顯著正向影響消費意願。針對上述結果,本研究提出管理意涵與後續研究建議。
