就藝術家而言,作品可說是個人特色的呈現,也是情感的傳遞與釋放,藝術家喜將外在感觀的體驗內化成自我繪畫創作的本質,並創造出個人代表的作品,以及人生方向的定位。
日本當代藝術家奈良美智(Yoshitomo Nara,1959-)作品中有著極為強烈、鮮明的「符號語彙」,相當具有個人魅力與獨特性。童年的成長歷程就像是他繪畫中的「圖像學」(iconology),畫作中的人物總能貼切地呈現出他童年的真實心境,也因而他認為創作就是他與人溝通的一種方式。
本論文的研究目的,在於透過奈良美智的繪畫研究來探討自我的繪畫創作本質,並使其衍生出自我藝術創作的形式與發展。除此之外,欲將個人的內在情感透過外在的繪畫表現形式呈現出,並深入地探究自我的人生歷程,藉以創造出個人的「繪畫語彙」。並透過童年的階段來審視自己,筆者以童趣的表現形式來呈現內在心靈世界,以及審視自己將那些無法滿足與平衡的心境,藉由「移情」或「昇華」的作用轉化成為創作的靈感。
For the artists, works can be said to exhibit personal characteristics, but also the transfer and release of emotion. Artists like to internalize the experience of external sense into the nature self-painting, and create a personal representative of the works, as well as the positioning of life direction.
The works of Japanese contemporary artist Yoshitomo Nara (1959-) have a very strong and clear “sign vocabulary”, with quite personal charm and uniqueness. Child growth process is like her painting “iconology”, painting figures always aptly showing real state of mind of her childhood, and thus she considered creation is a way of communicate with people.
The purpose of this thesis is to explore the nature of the author’s self-painting through the study on Yoshitomo Nara’s paintings, and derives the forms and development of artistic self-creation. In addition, it is intend to present individual inner feelings through external manifestation of painting, and deeply explore the self-life course, in order to create a personal “painting vocabulary”. Through the stages of childhood to look at herself the author presents the inner spiritual world by playful forms, transferring those mind which can be satisfied and balanced into the inspiration of creation with “transference” or “sublimation” role.
