布洛赫(Ernest Bloch, 1880-1958)堪稱為二十世紀最重要的猶太音樂作曲家之一，本論文藉由他的作品《所羅門-希伯來狂想曲》(Solomon, Hebraic Rhapsody)，來探討二十世紀作曲家的創作手法以及猶太音樂的風格特色。
筆者透過暸解作曲家生平和其創作背景，融合猶太民族音樂特色，以曲式分析以及演奏詮釋來揣摩布洛赫想表達的心境起伏，另外透過認識所羅門王背景與當時的文化歷史對猶太人的意義，深入暸解內容後，使在詮釋此首曲目時有心境上的體會。
本論文共分成四個章節，分別說明研究動機與目的、作曲家簡介、創作背景，並以曲式分析及演奏詮釋作出最後的結語。
Ernest Bloch(1880-1958) was one of the most important Jewish composer in the 20th century. This research choose his work for cello and orchestra “Solomon, Hebraic Rhapsody” to explore his compositional techniques and the characteristics of Jewish music.
By studying Bloch’s biography, the background of the composition and the characteristics of Jewish music, this paper provides the analysis of musical form and discuss the interpretation and performance to speculate the sentiments Bloch indicated on the music helps us to express and to interpret the composition according to these indication, and to fathom the state of mind of King Solomon and cultural background at the time.
This paper is divided into four parts: motivation and purpose, biography of Bloch, background of the composition, and the analysis of musical form and interpretation and performance.
