台灣中小企業在面臨全球化的趨勢下,紛紛前往工資較低與勞力充沛的東南亞與中國大陸投資,然而,企業追求國際化及競爭優勢成長的過程中,國際化的發展代表著廠商將配置不同附加價值活動的管理機能,與面對產業技術的升級、知識整合和各地政治文化等所面臨複雜問題。競爭優勢為企業必須創造出奇制勝的產品,同時要比競爭對手更快、成本更低的建立核心能力。
企業在進入陌生的環境時,除了考慮到進入之地點與模式外,進入之時機也是重要的考慮因素之一,然而,企業之國際化程度與競爭優勢是否會影響企業之進入時機,故本研究針對企業之國際化程度與企業之競爭優勢來探討是否因以上的各種因素使得其影響企業之進入時機。研究結果顯示,國際化程度為企業進入時機之主要影響因素,國際化程度越高的廠商,會選擇較快進入新市場。

Compet-itive advantage for enterprises must create a surprise move products, and faster than the competition, it costs less to establish core competencies.
Companies when entering an unfamiliar environment, besides entry mode and loca-tion choice, one of the important considerations is entry timing, however, the degree of internationalization and competitive advantage enterprises will affect the timing of entry of enterprises, so the study to explore the internationalization and competitive ad-vantage of enterprises is due to various factors make it more influence into the new market.
