    A Study of Peer Interpersonal Experiences and Coping of College Students with Asperger Syndrome

    摘要: 本研究主要目的在探討亞斯伯格症大學生於大學階段的同儕人際經驗、人際擔心與因應,共招募六位目前就讀大專院校的亞斯伯格症學生為研究參與者,各進行約1.5小時的半結構訪談,訪談所得到的文本資料以紮根理論的開放編碼、主軸編碼以及選擇編碼進行資料分析。研究結果發現:一、亞斯伯格症大學生有負面及正面的同儕人際關係。負面同儕人際關係中,包含:與班級同儕互動貧乏、負面人際行為、和負面人際情緒與感受三種主題;而正面同儕人際關係中,包含頻繁與廣泛的同儕人際互動、助益性人際行為、和正面人際情緒與感受三種主題。二、亞斯伯格症大學生於大學階段所面臨的同儕人際擔心/困境,主要包含:(1)社交人際的困境;(2)狹隘的人際網路;(3)同儕人際的負面回應;(4)負面自我概念/信念;(5)與同儕人際相關的其他困難議題。三、亞斯伯格症大學生對人際問題的因應,包含行為層面與想法層面的因應。另外,對人際問題因應後的經驗,包含同儕的負面與正面人際回應;在因應後的感受包含無力改變的挫敗、及因求助而獲得的正面感受。最後,研究者針對研究結果加以討論,並對實務工作與未來研究提出相關建議。
    The purpose of this study was to explore the peer interpersonal experiences and coping of college students with Asperger syndrome. Six college students with Asperger syndrome participated in the current study. Semi-structured interviews were conducted with each research participant individually and lasted about 1.5 hours. The data were analyzed based on grounded theory. The main results of the current study were as follows.
    1.The college students with Asperger syndrome had negative and positive peer interpersonal experiences. Among negative peer interpersonal experiences, college students with Asperger syndrome indicated poor interaction with their class peers, negative interpersonal behaviors, and negative interpersonal emotions and feelings. Among positive peer interpersonal experiences, college students with Asperger syndrome had more interaction with their class peers, more helpful interpersonal behaviors, and positive interpersonal emotions and feelings.
    2.The difficulties of peer interpersonal experiences among college students with Asperger syndrome included social difficulties, restricted social networks, negative responses from peers, lower self-esteem, and orther difficult issues in peer interactions. .
    3.The coping with social difficulties among college students with Asperger syndrome included behavioral coping and cognitive coping. In addition, the experiences after coping with interpersonal problems included negative and positive interpersonal responses from their peers; the feelings after coping with interpersonal problems included feeling unable to change and having positive feelings from help-seeking behaviors.

    Finally, based on the results of the current study, the author provided recommendations for practitioners and future researchers.
