現代語言學上多元的定義和詮釋隱喻是不夠周詳的，一元化隱喻理論的缺乏，顯示此種現象的複雜性和多樣性。本文將評論傳統和新思維的隱喻法，並且介紹一種新的綜合協調法引進的可能性，即融合幾個互相互補的理論。
The variety of approaches to the definition and interpretation of metaphor in modern linguistics is not exhaustive. The absence of the unified theory of metaphor is indicative of the complexity and versatility of this phenomenon. The article gives the review of the traditional and new conceptions of metaphor and shows the possibility of the introduction of a new compromise integrative approach, combining several mutually complementary theories.
